TRACED WITH PURPOSE

you are not a mistake – you are created uniquely for a unique purpose by God

God’s Sovereignty

Suffering is for your good and for His glory!

Never doubt God’s knowledge of the future over your own. He’s got way better things in store for you than you can ever imagine! It’s not always easy and sometimes He’ll take you thru the darkest valley of death but all of it is part of His amazing plan that you can’t always see. All suffering God allows into your life He takes and turns it for our good and for His Glory. It won’t always seem like it is for our good in our selfish, short term minded thinking: however; our selfish thinking doesn’t change the Truth of this. There is nothing that can ever come into your life that God cannot use for your good and for His glory!

What does “for your good” mean? Our ultimate purpose in life is to live a life that Glorifies God. To Glorify God means our lives are like a telescope, we take something that is magnificent and far away and bring it close for others to see.
In this way when God allows suffering into our life, it is for our good in that He gives us an opportunity through our suffering to “Glorify” Him. Since our purpose in life is to Glorify Him then suffering is for our good! The suffering God has chosen me to walk through has in turn brought more blessings and “life” into my life than I could have ever imagined!
Jesus is the ultimate example of this when He was praying before he was to be crucified in the cruelest way. His heart beat was that the Father be Glorified.

Here is a little video we shared at our wedding of our life leading up to engagement and a few glimpses into our engagement. It’s our prayer that through the suffering God has chosen us to walk through that we would never lose sight of His purpose in it all and Glorify Him through it all. It’s not about us – It’s about Him.

It’s our passion that our story will inspire others to embrace God and His purpose in their own life through their suffering.

God’s Sovereignty & Healing

So a client today, at the end of our successful visit about a legit need he has for a cabin suddenly changed gears and says he don’t know why but God just told him I need prayer – so I shared a bit with him my story with NF2. So him and his wife pray for me and predicted I will wake up in the morning healed – like totally will be healed no question about it and I have to have total faith that I will wake up completely healed.

I totally believe in healing and that we can pray in God’s power asking to heal immediately – however God doesn’t always choose to do so – so thru this whole conversation when asked if I believe in healing I said absolutely I do if it’s God’s will and I also believe God can choose not to heal and either way it is for His purpose and Glory – this couple had more the attitude that no you have to believe you will wake up tomorrow healed regardless and that God’s will for me is for me to be healed.

It may be God’s will for me to be healed in his timing! And I will continue to ask for healing in faith that he will if it’s His will for my life however I am also okay with the fact that if He doesn’t choose to heal me then that is His perfect plan for my life and He will look after me and provide.

The take away I have from this esp after #mattchandlers sermon yesterday on the prosperity gospel is how huge of a relief to realize we can have total faith and confidence in the sovereignty of God. If I expect to be healed in the morning once I wake up I will be in total misery wondering what I did wrong or how I can have more faith so I am healed – instead when we understand the sovereignty of God, we can have full faith in healing yet understand that sometimes healing comes in a different form then physical healing!
